My daughter age 28 was just released from the hospital with DVT and PE. She was on Trinessa for cramp and acne treatment. She had many clots in her leg, many in both lungs.
I have been taking Trinessa for close to a month now. I have noticed feeling tired, weight loss and heavier bleeding than usual. I usually always bleed heavy but I have had two periods in one month now. Is this normal? Also more blood clots too. My doctor put me on this so I wouldn’t bleed as much since I am very anemic and have thalasemia and low hemoglobin. Now I am bleeding more and am really getting nervous since it makes me tired when I try to do things during the day. Bad cramps as well and as always mood swings big time.

I have been on trinessa for 3 months. And about 3 weeks ago I started breaking out in really bad hives. All over my back etc. with a very painful rash. I believe these pills are causing it and im stopping them as of today. I have encountered many websites stating the same things that have been happening to me, that are happening to others. This pill is very dangerous!!
