Prescribed 8mg quick dissolve tabs of Zofran for severe nausea and vomiting due to pregnancy (currently 7 weeks along). Zofran relieved nausea after 15 minutes, but after 2 hours major kidney pain took its place! Could barely stand or straighten my back. Kidney pain lasted for about 4 hours. This has happened 3 times in a row, exactly the same way. Coincidence or side-effect?
I have been on Zofran for 4 days due to extreme morning sickness.It works great in preventing vomiting and severe nausea but I too am experiencing kidney pain. It started with my third 4mg dose and has continued since. I thought a trip to the ER was going to be required last night due to the pain.
