I have had such severe anxiety attacks and anxiety in general from this medication. I have been prescribed 1 mg 3x a day of valium. But still this barely controls the side effects.Anyone else have problems like this?
I suffered from encephalopathy. I noticed tremors, terrible headaches, lethargy and insomnia. After a few months, I began to have memory problems. My doctors thought I as depressed. Finally, things started to ‘move in slow motion’ and at times, I felt disoriented. Shortly thereafter, I developed a sharp “knife” like feeling starting at the top of the rt. side of my head that went down into the nose. My doctor ordered an MRI. It was not normal. Then, I saw a neurologist who conducted an EEG. It was seriously abnormal. After 9 mos of taking Prograf, I was weaned off of Prograf immediately. All symptoms resolved w/the exception of my memory…its much better, but not 100%.
