   I was prescribed this and had a very adverse reaction after only 3 pills of 100 mg each. My last pill was last Thursday and I am still feeling bad. Made my blood pressure climb, ears red, fever twice and made my tinnitus worse. I will never take this again…..wish I had not…

   Took macrobid for a UTI. seven days-severe side effects, numbness tingling, muscle pain and cramps. Symtoms getting worse by the day. Running to the doc for help!

   Get off that stuff and get off of it fast!I took macrobid and macrodantin for 2 years for UTI’s and now several years later I have peripheral neuropathy so bad in my feet I am in a wheelchair. Also since it is progressive in my hands now. Stay away from antibiotics…the damage they are doing to you while you are young will show up when you are older. Two years ago I could walk, today I am in a wheelchair and if I have to take an antibiotic I better be careful. When taking Flagyl my left leg went numb up to the hip…no feeling …scared to death..after 12 hours of being off feelings came back. I will never take it again. Same thing for Trileptal.
   Docs say there is nothing they can do! and when I cry they just say you were doing what you were told. Docs aren’t the Gods we were toaught! There is only one God and he is in heaven. I hope there will be no doctors there! Ruins your brain, too.

   took only 2 macrobid pills became very nauseated, have severe lower back pain, chills, neckache, headache, I have stopped taking the and am waiting for the doctor to call me back.
