    I have been taking lypanthyl for many years. I experience sort of needle pricking pain on my left side of body, from the nipple level right down to my left leg. I was told told it could be a result of pinching nerve and not the medication. I was also taking Lipitor (40mg)but has since stopeed taking upon doctor’s advice.
    Now I have to increase dosage of Lypanthyl to two tablets per day and to be taken with a new medication prescribed, which is Ezetrol.

    My latest lipid studies shows the following:

    Cholesterol 5.8
    TG 1.6
    HDL 1.0
    LDL 4.1
    CHOL/HDL
    Ratio 5.8

    Question is, how can I bring down the CHO/HDL ratio? Can increasing the dosage of Lypanthyl to 160mg x 2/day helps?
