   I was taking doxycycline for meibomitis and a little over 2 weeks after I started I came ill with severe head pressure,tinnitus,chills,nausea,flulike symptoms and after 2 emergency room visits and 6 different doctors (who were trying to treat me for sinuses,unknown reactions,and migraines)I was finally told by my opthalmologist(who was very aware of my symptoms and said doxy not the cause) finally consulted a neurologist and informed me last week that indeed it can cause all of these symptoms.What I would like to know is,does anyone know how long symptoms remain after stopping the doxy?Thanks

   according to http://www.rxlist.com the benign intracranial hypertension normally stops once you stop taking the medication completely. i’m not sure for certain however.

   My son took Doxycycline on April 27 2009 for 7 days and had a bad reaction.
   He started having left sided chest pain,heart palpitations,tingling in face and down arms.
   He has also been having panic attacks.I hope this all settles down soon.He has been off the medecine since 2nd May.
   Prior to this maedecine he was calm and carefree.
   I hpoe this settles down soon.
   does anyone know how long these feelins generally last?
