I have been taking 500mg of Ceftin twice a day for a week. I was prescribed this for a spider bite. For three days I have experienced abdominal pain (upper & lower), diarrhea, aching muscles, cold sweats, flatulence, and nausea. Over the counter anti-diarrhea medicine every 4 to 6 hours has helped some. Today I took 8 charcoal tablets and that has helped.
