   Doctor had me take amoxicillin 500mg because of sinus infection. I toke 4x500mg for 10days. It cleared up the infection but I have had acute gout attacks for over a month. my feet/hands/wrists/knees have developed terrible pain to the point that I couldnt walk. When I finally was able to get to see him he said it couldnt be a connecttion and he gave me a steriod shot. still didnt stop did a blood test and immediately sent me to a special doctor for rumoriod. Dr check over tests and checked my joints and said it was rumoroid. just Gout. Still have pain with very little relief, due to have knee replacement in 10 days and Im not sure if I should. I will meet with knee doctor next week.
   this gout problem was under control by taking Allopurinal daily but it became out of control after taking Amoxicillin for infection.
   could this have trigered my constant gout problem and how long will this stay in my system
