    I have long term liver disease and ascites due to alcohol excess when I was younger.
    My doc has prescribed Aldactone 25 (three a day because I also have high blood pressure) but my oedema seems to be getting worse instead of better.
    I have noticed no change in the volume or frequency of urine passed - although I do have diahorrea requiring up to three visits or so in a day.
    I am starting to despair because my abdomen, feet and legs are becoming stretched and painful.
    Any advice will be welcomed please.
