Zyloric and pancytopenia Patient Reports February 13, 2012

Zyloric Side Effects Report #4961772-0
Zyloric side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Feb 10, 2006. Female patient, 82 years of age, was diagnosed with hyperuricaemia, hypertension, pneumonia , neutropenia, chronic myeloid leukaemia and was treated with Zyloric. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: lung infiltration, nasopharyngitis, pancytopenia, pneumonia , respiratory failure. Zyloric dosage: 200 MG/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with ADALAT, CARBENIN, GLEEVEC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 02/10/2006.

Zyloric side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from JAPAN on July 08, 2008. Female patient, 94 years of age, was treated with Zyloric. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: pancytopenia. Zyloric dosage: 100MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with DIGOSIN, WARFARIN, VASOLAN, DIART, AMLODIPINE. Patient recovered.
