Female patient, 80 years of age, weighting 103.8 lb, was diagnosed with oral herpes, polyneuropathy and was treated with Zovirax. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: delirium, disorientation, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, hypokalaemia, hyponatraemia, nausea , pyrexia, renal tubular disorder, restlessness. Zovirax dosage: 200MG FOUR TIMES PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with PREDONINE, FAMOTIDINE, MUCOSTA, ACTONEL, ROCALTROL, RIVOTRIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
