Zosyn Side Effects Report #4803007-5
Zosyn side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 17, 2005. Male patient, 62 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection  and was treated with Zosyn. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: pancytopenia. Zosyn dosage: 3.375 MG IV Q6H. During the same period patient was treated with CIPRO, ACETAMINOPHEN SUPP, ALBUTEROL, CLINDAMYCIN, ENOXAPARIN, HUMULIN R, IPRATROPIUM BR, NA BIPHOSPHATE AND NA PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: disseminated intravascular coagulation, hepatic failure, pancytopenia, pneumonia . Zosyn dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PN TWIN. Patient died on 11/11/2008.
