Zosyn Side Effects Report #4634345-7
Zosyn side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Mar 30, 2005. Male patient, 78 years of age, was diagnosed with skin infection and was treated with Zosyn. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, blood potassium increased, brain oedema, cardio-respiratory arrest, haematocrit decreased, haemoglobin decreased, platelet count increased. Zosyn dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AMOXICILLIN AND CLAVULANATE POTASSIUM, LEVOTHYROXINE, DIGOXIN, GLYBURIDE, FUROSEMIDE, FOLIC ACID, ASPIRIN, CARVEDILOL. Patient died on 03/08/2002.
