Zopiclone side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from FRANCE on Aug 21, 2008. Female patient, 83 years of age, was diagnosed with insomnia, depression
and was treated with Zopiclone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: accidental overdose, somnolence. Zopiclone dosage: 7.5 MG; COATED TABLET; DAILY;ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with FLUOXETINE, IMOVANE, PROZAC, CACIT D, ACETAMINOPHEN, OXYBUTYNINE, OMEPRAZOLE, PIPRAM. Patient was hospitalized. Zopiclone side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on June 12, 2008. Male patient, 44 years of age, was diagnosed with major depression, insomnia and was treated with Zopiclone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, gait disturbance, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, somnolence. Zopiclone dosage: 20 MG. During the same period patient was treated with TRIAZOLAM, BENZODIAZEPINES, BROTIZOLAM, AMOXAPINE, MYSLEE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
