Zopiclone side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on Apr 18, 2005. Male patient, 23 years of age, was diagnosed with insomnia, schizophrenia and was treated with Zopiclone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatine phosphokinase increased, body temperature increased, compartment syndrome, eye rolling, malaise, muscle contractions involuntary, musculoskeletal stiffness, necrosis, neuroleptic malignant syndrome. Zopiclone dosage: 7.5MG/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with DEPIXOL, CLOZARIL. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: balance disorder, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, coordination abnormal, drooling, dysarthria, muscular weakness, transient ischaemic attack. Zopiclone dosage: 7.5MG DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with CLOZARIL, EPILIM, LAMICTAL, PROPRANOLOL, DIAZEPAM. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acidosis, acute pulmonary oedema, agonal rhythm, alanine aminotransferase increased, blood amylase increased, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, blood pressure decreased, cardiac arrest , continuous haemodiafiltration. Zopiclone dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DICLOFENAC, MIRTAZAPINE, CITALOPRAM HYDROBROMIDE, FLUOXETINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
