Female patient, 71 years of age, was diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia What is  trigeminal neuralgia and was treated with Zonisamide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: candidiasis, condition aggravated, neutrophil count decreased, platelet count decreased, stomatitis, streptococcal infection What is  streptococcal infection, white blood cell count decreased. Zonisamide dosage: 300 MG, 3 IN 1 D, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with AMITRIPTYLINE, HALCION. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
