Zonisamide Side Effects Report #5652122-5
Zonisamide side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Feb 20, 2008. Female patient, 54 years of age, was diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia  and was treated with Zonisamide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: liver disorder, staphylococcal infection , toxic epidermal necrolysis. Zonisamide dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, hepatic function abnormal, liver disorder, oedema peripheral, pneumonia , pulmonary oedema. Zonisamide dosage: 200 MG, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, HALCION, OPALMON, AMAZOLON, FERROMIA, CLARITHROMYCIN, MUCODYNE, LEFTOSE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: eosinophilia, human herpes virus 6 serology positive, hyperuricaemia, leukaemoid reaction, liver disorder, pyrexia, renal disorder. Zonisamide dosage: 200 MG, 2 IN 1 D, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with YODEL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Zonisamide dosage: 300 MG, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with CARBAMAZEPINE, PYRAZOLONE, PHENYTOIN, CLONAZEPAM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
