Zonisamide side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on May 19, 2006. Male patient, 79 years of age, was diagnosed with epilepsy
and was treated with Zonisamide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: eosinophilia, human herpes virus 6 serology positive, hyperuricaemia, leukaemoid reaction, liver disorder, pyrexia, renal disorder. Zonisamide dosage: 400 MG, 2 IN 1 D, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with LOXONIN, MUCOSTA, FAMOTIDINE, ZOLPIDEM TARTRATE. Patient was hospitalized.
