Zonisamide side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Feb 25, 2008. Male patient, 71 years of age, was diagnosed with epilepsy What is  epilepsy and was treated with Zonisamide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, atelectasis, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, blood urine present, gamma-glutamyltransferase increased, human herpesvirus 6 infection, pneumonia What is  pneumonia, toxic epidermal necrolysis. Zonisamide dosage: 300 MG, 1 IN 1 D, ORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
