Zonisamide side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Aug 10, 2005. Female patient, 45 years of age, was diagnosed with loss of consciousness and was treated with Zonisamide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, asthenia, bronchitis What is  bronchitis, eczema What is  eczema, gait disturbance, insomnia, oedema. Zonisamide dosage: 400 MG, 2 IN 1 D, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ARTANE, ATARAX, ZOLPIDEM TARTRATE, ESTAZOLAM, VEGETAMIN, DIAZEPAM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Zonisamide dosage: 200 MG, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, HALCION, OPALMON, AMAZOLON, FERROMIA, CLARITHROMYCIN, MUCODYNE, LEFTOSE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Patient died on 07/08/2006.
