Zonegran and blood glucose increased Patient Reports February 10, 2012

Zonegran Side Effects Report #4699378-3
Zonegran side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on June 17, 2005. Female patient, 71 years of age, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease  and was treated with Zonegran. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood albumin decreased, blood glucose increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, bronchitis acute, calculus ureteric, cardio-respiratory arrest, constipation . Zonegran dosage: 25 MG 1 IN 1 D ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with SYMMETREL, PERMAX, SELEGILINE HYDROCHLORIDE, DOPS, GASMOTIN, FLORINEF, PURSENNID. Patient died on 02/06/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, anorexia, back pain , blood glucose increased, breast pain, burning sensation, dyspepsia, mucosal inflammation. Zonegran dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with KEPPRA, ERGENYL CHRONO, DIGOXIN, ENOXAPARIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
