Zonegran Side Effects Report #4668604-9
Zonegran side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on May 16, 2005. Female patient, 19 years of age, weighting 125.2 lb, was diagnosed with partial seizures and was treated with Zonegran. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal discomfort, anorexia, brain oedema, cardiac arrest , chest discomfort, chest pain , fall , feeling abnormal. Zonegran dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ORTHO TRI. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 05/13/2005.

Female patient, 19 years of age, weighting 125.2 lb, was diagnosed with partial seizures, menstruation irregular and was treated with Zonegran. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal discomfort, anorexia, brain oedema, cardiac arrest , fall , feeling abnormal, haemorrhage, hypocoagulable state. Zonegran dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ORTHO TRI. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 05/13/2005.

Zonegran dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ORTHO TRI. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 05/13/2005.

During the same period patient was treated with DEPAKOTE ER, SERTRALINE HYDROCHLORIDE, FOLIC ACID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
