Male patient, 30 years of age, was diagnosed with schizophrenia, ill-defined disorder, schizophrenia, paranoid type and was treated with Ziprasidone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arteriosclerosis, cardiac arrest , completed suicide, dizziness , epistaxis, headache , influenza, malaise. Ziprasidone dosage: 160 MG BID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with MANDOLGIN, REMERON, EFFEXOR, ACETAMINOPHEN, ZOPICLONE, NOZINAN, CLONAZEPAM, OXAZEPAM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 02/04/2002.
