Zidovudine Side Effects Report #4797459-7
Zidovudine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 06, 2005. Female patient, 40 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Zidovudine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dyspnoea, fatigue, haematocrit decreased, haemoglobin decreased, headache , mean cell haemoglobin decreased, mean cell volume decreased, middle insomnia, white blood cell count decreased. Zidovudine dosage: 300MG PO BID. During the same period patient was treated with IBUPROFEN, TENOFOVIR, RITONAVIR. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with DIDANOSINE, CLARITHROMYCIN, LAMIVUDINE, STAVUDINE, ABACAVIR SULPHATE, NELFINAVIR MESYLATE, KALETRA, COTRIM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
