Ziagen Side Effects Report #4589797-8
Ziagen side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Dec 09, 2004. Male patient, 50 years of age, weighting 123.5 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Ziagen. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood fibrinogen decreased, disseminated intravascular coagulation, headache , hepatitis acute, pyrexia, vomiting, weight decreased. Ziagen dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with EPIVIR, NORVIR, ATAZANAVIR, AZADOSE, BACTRIM DS, AUGMENTIN, OMEPRAZOLE, TRIFLUCAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with RETROVIR, ZERIT, STOCRIN, VIDEX, VIRACEPT, SEROSTIM, KALETRA, INVIRASE. Patient died on 07/15/2005.
