Ziagen Side Effects Report #5787950-9
Ziagen side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from SPAIN on June 20, 2008. Male patient, 51 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Ziagen. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute myocardial infarction, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, troponin increased. Ziagen dosage: 600MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with VIDEX, LIPLAT, NEBIVOLOL, VIRAMUNE. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , blood creatine phosphokinase increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, c-reactive protein increased, hepatitis , hypotension, hypothermia , leukocytosis. Ziagen dosage: 300MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with TELZIR, BACTRIM, VIDEX, NORVIR, KALETRA, AMPHOTERICINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
