Zerit side effect was reported by a Health Professional from FRANCE on Mar 27, 2008. Male patient, 86 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv test positive  and was treated with Zerit. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiomyopathy , cholestasis, hepatic failure, lactic acidosis, renal failure acute. Zerit dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with EPIVIR, KARDEGIC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 02/28/2008.

Male patient, 29 years of age, weighting 154.3 lb, was diagnosed with hiv test positive , cd4 lymphocytes decreased, antifungal prophylaxis and was treated with Zerit. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute hepatic failure, aspartate aminotransferase increased, atrial fibrillation , blood alkaline phosphatase increased, hepatic steatosis, jaundice , lactic acidosis, liver function test abnormal. Zerit dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DIDANOSINE, INVIRASE, ZIDOVUDINE, ZALCITABINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 10/14/1997.
