Zefix Side Effects Report #5095998-5
Zefix side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Aug 04, 2006. Male patient, 68 years of age, weighting 143.3 lb, was diagnosed with hepatitis b , gastric ulcer and was treated with Zefix. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: jaundice , thrombocytopenia. Zefix dosage: 50MG VARIABLE DOSE. During the same period patient was treated with MUCODYNE, LACTULOSE, PERSANTIN, PARIET, ALDACTONE A, PANTOSIN, LASIX. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient died on 08/14/2006.

During the same period patient was treated with MUCODYNE, LACTULOSE, PERSANTIN, PARIET, ALDACTONE, PANTOSIN, LASIX. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient died on 08/14/2006.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, anaemia, ascites, haematuria, henoch-schonlein purpura, hepatitis b virus, jaundice , nephritis, oedema peripheral. Zefix dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: depressed level of consciousness, disseminated intravascular coagulation, hepatic failure, hepatorenal syndrome, jaundice , portal vein thrombosis, putamen haemorrhage. Zefix dosage: 100MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with NEO MINOPHAGEN C, PHYSIO, HUMULIN R, GLUCAGON, FRESH FROZEN PLASMA. Patient died on 11/10/2004.

Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: ascites, bilirubin conjugated increased, blood bilirubin increased, blood creatinine increased, hepatic encephalopathy, hepatic failure, jaundice , oedema, oliguria. Zefix dosage: 100MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with ALDACTONE A, ADALAT, CYANOCOBALAMIN, GLAKAY, LASIX, HALCION, LACTULOSE. Patient died on 11/22/2004.
