Zefix side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Jan 10, 2006. Male patient, 56 years of age, weighting 156.5 lb, was diagnosed with hepatitis b  and was treated with Zefix. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, platelet count decreased. Zefix dosage: 100MG PER DAY. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
