Zefix side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Nov 21, 2005. Male patient, 76 years of age, was diagnosed with hepatitis b What is  hepatitis b, gastritis, hepatic encephalopathy, cardiac failure and was treated with Zefix. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood albumin decreased, blood bilirubin increased, haematocrit decreased, haemoglobin decreased, pancytopenia, platelet count decreased, prothrombin level decreased. Zefix dosage: 100MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with PARIET, LACTULOSE, POLYMYXIN B SULPHATE, TORSEMIDE, MUCOSTA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
