Zavesca side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from NETHERLANDS on Nov 27, 2006. Female patient, child 6 years of age, weighting 39.68 lb, was diagnosed with leukodystrophy and was treated with Zavesca. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , anorexia, dehydration, dementia , diarrhoea, disease progression, fall , neurological symptom, off label use. Zavesca dosage: 100 MG, TID, ORAL. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , anorexia, dehydration, disease progression, fall , memory impairment, neurological symptom, weight decreased. Zavesca dosage: 100 MG, TID, ORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 48 years of age, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with gaucher's disease and was treated with Zavesca. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , bone pain, compression fracture, diarrhoea, osteolysis. Zavesca dosage: 100 MG, TID; 100 MG, QD, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with CLASTOBAN, COMBIVIR, SUSTIVA. Patient recovered.
