Zanaflex side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Aug 17, 2004. Female patient, 69 years of age, was diagnosed with muscle spasticity, multiple sclerosis , herpes zoster and was treated with Zanaflex. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: confusional state, delirium, mental status changes, urinary tract infection . Zanaflex dosage: 4 MG/D. During the same period patient was treated with COPAXONE, BACLOFEN, DESIPRAMINE, ACYCLOVIR, HYDROCODONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 53 years of age, weighting 132.0 lb, was diagnosed with muscle spasms, urinary tract infection  and was treated with Zanaflex. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dysarthria, dysstasia, feeling abnormal, hallucination, hypotension, rectal haemorrhage, urinary tract infection . Zanaflex dosage: ( 8 MG TID ORAL). During the same period patient was treated with CIPROFLOXACIN, FENTANYL, PERCOCET. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: epilepsy , glasgow coma scale abnormal, hallucination, intentional misuse, loss of consciousness, overdose, renal failure acute, urinary tract infection . Zanaflex dosage: 36 MG PO. During the same period patient was treated with GABAPENTIN, BACLOFEN, CIPROFLOXACIN, BENDROFLUAZIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
