Zanaflex side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Jan 12, 2009. Male patient, 76 years of age, weighting 190.0 lb, was diagnosed with neck pain and was treated with Zanaflex. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abnormal behaviour, aggression, agitation, confusional state, hallucination, thinking abnormal. Zanaflex dosage: 4 MG 6X/DAY ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with COUMADIN, LIPITOR, LOPRESSOR, ASPIRIN, AVODART, FLOMAX. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 56 years of age, weighting 105.0 lb, was diagnosed with headache  and was treated with Zanaflex. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: confusional state, fall , gait disturbance, loss of consciousness, somnolence, thinking abnormal. Zanaflex dosage: 4 MG QHS PO. During the same period patient was treated with CYMBALTA, PROVIGIL, KLONOPIN, GABAPENTIN, VERAPAMIL. Patient recovered.

Zanaflex side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Aug 21, 2006. Male patient was diagnosed with post laminectomy syndrome and was treated with Zanaflex. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute psychosis, burning sensation, catheter related complication, confusional state, dizziness , hallucination, auditory, thinking abnormal. Zanaflex dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PRIALT, LYRICA, CYMBALTA, FENTANYL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
