Female patient, 58 years of age, weighting 128.0 lb, was diagnosed with gastrointestinal infection, overgrowth bacterial and was treated with Xifaxan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: food intolerance, herpes simplex , influenza like illness, malaise, pain , pyrexia, vomiting. Xifaxan dosage: 200 MG/BID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with VYTORIN, THYROID SUPPLEMENT, NEFAZONE, PERCOCET, DARVON. Patient recovered.
