Female patient, 77 years of age, weighting 136.0 lb, was diagnosed with overgrowth bacterial and was treated with Xifaxan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: constipation , rash erythematous. Xifaxan dosage: 200MG/DAILY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with PREVACID, MAALOX MAX, METOPROLOL, ENALAPRIL, AZMACORT, REGLAN. Patient recovered.
