Xifaxan side effect was reported by a Physician from on Mar 24, 2005. Female patient, child 9 years of age, was diagnosed with overgrowth bacterial and was treated with Xifaxan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, anaemia, gastric haemorrhage, international normalised ratio increased. Xifaxan dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with COUMADIN, ELAVIL, GABAPENTIN, LANSOPRAZOLE, GENOTROPIN, FLUCONAZOLE, CIPROFLOXACIN, GENTAMIACIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
