Male patient, 83 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension, cerebrovascular accident prophylaxis and was treated with Xeloda. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aggression, cerebrovascular accident, dementia , eosinophilia, palmar-plantar erythrodysaesthesia syndrome, refusal of treatment by patient, transient ischaemic attack. Xeloda dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AMARYL, TOPROL, ASPIRIN. Patient recovered.
