Xagrid side effect was reported by a Physician from FRANCE on Sept 25, 2006. Male patient, 61 years of age, was diagnosed with essential thrombocythaemia and was treated with Xagrid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: disease progression, headache
, leukocytosis, myelocytosis, myelofibrosis, neutrophil count increased, splenomegaly. Xagrid dosage: 0.5 MG, 2X/DAY:BID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with HYDREA. Patient recovered.
