Xagrid side effect was reported by a Physician from GERMANY on June 20, 2006. Male patient, 75 years of age, weighting 189.6 lb, was diagnosed with essential thrombocythaemia and was treated with Xagrid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation , cardiac failure. Xagrid dosage: 0.5 MG, 3X/DAY:TID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with HYDROXYUREA, ASPIRIN, METOPROLOL, SIMVASTATIN, ALLOPURINOL. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation , tachycardia. Xagrid dosage: 1/1.5 MG ON ALTERNATE DAYS, ORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
