Welchol side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Dec 20, 2006. Female patient, 44 years of age, was diagnosed with hypercholesterolaemia and was treated with Welchol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , renal failure acute, rhabdomyolysis. Welchol dosage: 1250 MG BID PO. During the same period patient was treated with VASOTEC, PROTONIX, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, CLONIDINE, INSULIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
