Welchol side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Oct 07, 2008. Female patient, 73 years of age, weighting 154.0 lb, was diagnosed with hyperlipidaemia, heart rate irregular and was treated with Welchol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anxiety , blood pressure diastolic decreased, blood pressure systolic increased, depression , heart rate decreased, heart rate increased, heart rate irregular, pain in extremity, somnolence. Welchol dosage: 3750 MG (1875 MG, BID) ,PER ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with METOPROLOL, METFORMIN, CARTIA, SINGULAIR. Patient recovered.
