Female patient, 73 years of age, weighting 154.0 lb, was diagnosed with hyperlipidaemia, heart rate irregular and was treated with Welchol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anxiety , blood pressure diastolic decreased, blood pressure systolic increased, depression , heart rate decreased, heart rate increased, heart rate irregular, pain in extremity, somnolence. Welchol dosage: 3750 MG (1875 MG, BID) ,PER ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with METOPROLOL, METFORMIN, CARTIA, SINGULAIR. Patient recovered.

Welchol dosage: 3750 MG (1875 MG,BID), PER ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with METOPROLOL SUCCINATE, METFORMIN, CARTIA, SINGULAIR. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation , blood magnesium decreased, blood pressure increased, constipation , eye haemorrhage, heart rate increased, malabsorption, thyroid disorder.
