Welchol side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Nov 26, 2007. Female patient, 68 years of age, was diagnosed with hyperlipidaemia and was treated with Welchol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain What is  abdominal pain, condition aggravated, constipation What is  constipation, diverticulum, irritable bowel syndrome What is  irritable bowel syndrome, muscle injury, myopathy. Welchol dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MIDRIN, FISH OIL, LEVOTHYROXINE, POTASSIUM, LASIX, LEXAPRO, MECLIZINE. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

Welchol dosage: 1250 MG BID PO. During the same period patient was treated with SPIRIVA, ALBUTEROL, COZAAR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 12/03/2005.

Patient recovered.
