Female patient, 80 years of age, weighting 180.0 lb, was diagnosed with hypercholesterolaemia and was treated with Welchol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, abdominal pain , blood pressure increased, body temperature decreased, coeliac disease, cold sweat, dizziness , nausea , vision blurred. Welchol dosage: 2500 MG (1250 MG, BID), PER ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with LISINOPRIL. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: back pain , blood pressure increased, cholelithiasis, fall , pancreatitis, post procedural complication, pruritus, white blood cell count increased. Welchol dosage: 312.5 MG QD PO. During the same period patient was treated with ACIPHEX, WOMEN, CALCIUM GLUCONATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
