Vorinostat side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Oct 18, 2007. Male patient, 73 years of age, weighting 209.0 lb, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia and was treated with Vorinostat. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: febrile neutropenia. Vorinostat dosage: 400 MG/DAILY/PO. During the same period patient was treated with DECITABINE UNK. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 18 years of age, weighting 114.0 lb, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia and was treated with Vorinostat. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain What is  abdominal pain, caecitis, cellulitis What is  cellulitis, cheilitis, febrile neutropenia, herpes simplex What is  herpes simplex, oral intake reduced, pyrexia, weight decreased. Vorinostat dosage: 400 MG/DAILY/PO CAP. During the same period patient was treated with DECITABINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
