Voriconazole Side Effects Report #4618190-4
Voriconazole side effect was reported by a Physician from on Mar 06, 2005. Male patient, 50 years of age, was diagnosed with prophylaxis and was treated with Voriconazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood bilirubin increased, bradycardia, dermatitis exfoliative, diarrhoea, diarrhoea haemorrhagic, febrile neutropenia, graft versus host disease, mental status changes. Voriconazole dosage: 400 MG (200 MG, 2 IN 1 D), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with IMMUNOSUPPRESSIVE AGENTS, CORTICOSTEROIDS. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, chronic hepatitis, diarrhoea, hepatic cirrhosis, hepatic enzyme abnormal, hepatorenal syndrome, pancytopenia, peritonitis bacterial, renal failure acute. Voriconazole dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE, TACROLIMUS, METRONIDAZOLE, RABEPRAZOLE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 02/23/2008.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , anorexia, back pain , blood phosphorus decreased, cholestasis, diarrhoea, hypocalcaemia, nausea . Voriconazole dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with COTRIM, CEFTRIAXONE, GENTAMICIN SULPHATE, VANCOMYCIN HYDROCHLORIDE, AMPHOTERICIN B. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: candidiasis, cytomegalovirus infection , diarrhoea, febrile neutropenia, graft versus host disease, mental status changes, pneumonia fungal, rash maculo-papular, zygomycosis. Voriconazole dosage: 400 MG (200 MG, 2 IN 1 D), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with MYCOPHENOLATE MOFETIL, CYCLOSPORINE. Patient died.
