Voriconazole Side Effects Report #5096475-8
Voriconazole side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Aug 28, 2006. Male patient was diagnosed with fungaemia, myocardial infarction, sepsis  and was treated with Voriconazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, cholestasis, hepatic failure, jaundice . Voriconazole dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PLAVIX, ZOSYN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Voriconazole dosage: 200 MG PO Q12 HOURS. During the same period patient was treated with CACO, PULMOZYME, EPOPROSTENOL, FENTANYL, HEPARIN, HYDROCORTISONE, INSULIN, IPRATROPIUM BROMIDE AND ALBUTEROL SULPHATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, aspergillosis, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, cholestasis, haemoglobin decreased, hypophosphataemia, no adverse event. Voriconazole dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SERTRALINE, DILTIAZEM, BOSENTAN, AZATHIOPRINE, PREDNISONE, RAMIPRIL, PANTOPRAZOLE. Patient recovered.
