Vivitrol side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Aug 20, 2007. Male patient, weighting 208.0 lb, was diagnosed with alcoholism  and was treated with Vivitrol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , alcohol withdrawal syndrome, alcoholism , blood potassium decreased, body temperature increased, burning sensation, dehydration, delirium tremens. Vivitrol dosage: 380 MG 1X/MONTH INTRAMUSCULAR. During the same period patient was treated with EFFEXOR, CAMPRAL, NEURONTIN, PROPRANOLOL, BENICAR, SEROQUEL, ACETAMINOPHEN, VICODIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
