Visudyne side effect was reported by a Physician from on Mar 30, 2005. Female patient, 70 years of age, was diagnosed with choroidal neovascularisation and was treated with Visudyne. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: fibrosis, injection site extravasation, injection site pain, median nerve injury, muscle atrophy, necrosis, neuritis, paralysis . Visudyne dosage: 11.4 MG DAILY IV. During the same period patient was treated with DIABETA, COVERSYL, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, CALCIUM GLUCONATE, VITAMIN E. Patient recovered.
