Viramune side effect was reported by a Physician from on May 27, 2008. Female patient, child 7 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Viramune. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, blood lactic acid increased, fatigue, mitochondrial toxicity, movement disorder , myalgia, myocarditis. Viramune dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ABACAVIR, LAMIVUDINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
